Directions

From Gauteng (4 hours 40 minutes)

• Take the N3 out of Johannesburg -East to Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
• Continue on the Freeway for about 4 to 4 and a half hours until you reach the Nottingham Road turn off (this is just a few kms after the Mooi River toll gate – there are four toll gates between Johannesburg and Nottingham Road).
• Turn right at the end of the “Off Ramp” to Nottingham Road.
• You are now 27 kms away from Lythwood.
• In Nottingham Road bear left towards Balgowan on the R103.
• You will pass Rawdons and Michaelhouse School.
• Continue on the R103 to Lidgetton – you will pick up the sign posts to Lythwood just before Lidgetton and turn right between the 2 Trading Stores and follow the signs. Just after the bridge over the small river.
• We are exactly 8 kms from the railway bridge to the front door!

From Durban (1 hour 25minutes)

• Take the N3 to Pietermaritzburg.
• Continue passed Pietermaritzburg towards Howick.
• Take the Howick/Tweedie – R103 turn off.
• At the end of the Off-Ramp turn left towards Tweedie.
• Turn right at the T-junction towards Nottingham Road.
• Pass Piggly Wiggly on your left.
• Keep on the R103 until you see the signs to Lythwood in Lidgetton.
• We are exactly 8 kms from the railway bridge to the front door!
