    Aside from the beautiful venue, scenery and cleanliness. John and the rest of the staff made our wedding the most seamless and accomodating function. John was the reason why we chose Lythwood over the other venues in the midlands . Give that man a raise! Sanele is another gem of Lythwood. You guys are exceptional going above and beyond.     What a great place to just relax or get married at, The staff are friendly and attend to your every request.
    The area is so peaceful situated 30min from the nearest main road amongst forests and farms.

  • I attended a wedding at Lythwood Lodge and it is breathtakingly beautiful, the rooms are stunning, the Manager/ owner John is an amazing guy, the staff is helpful and attentive. It was an experience I will never forget. Although it's far, it's worth it!

    Had my wedding at this venue 2 weeks ago and my oh my. I’m at a loss for words. It’s turned out to be everything I has envisioned. John and his staff did an impeccable job they served us so selflessly. Highly recommend it.

    Where do I begin? Everything was absolutely pleasant. The service is some of the best I have ever experienced. John made everything run smoothly from the booking process to the time that we spent there. Every single staff member I came in contact with was a joy and seemed so happy to be part of the Lythwood family. The catering staff at the wedding were also amazing. The food is delicious and the little touches made all the difference. We will be back 100%. Thank you John and team for taking care of us 🙏🏽

That’s why we offer three comprehensive packages, each including various wedding service items relating to your wedding, each with a single all-in price. They include things many other venues don’t, like accommodation for your guests, your photographer, etc. Ivory, Gold and the all inclusive Diamond  and of course our accommodation is discounted for you and your guests.

At Lythwood, you also get access to our powerful, stress-relieving wedding planning tools . (Login to my Event Plan Manager) Tools that’ll help you take care of all the time-consuming tasks, such as sending out invitations and tracking the RSVPs. All the way through to helping you plan the table seating arrangements.

And of course, our dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be there to hold your hand, every step of the way. Between our powerful wedding planning tools and dedicated wedding co-ordinator, you’ll be free to enjoy your wedding.

The Lythwood wedding venue is yours alone for the weekend. Reserved for you and your guests. Regardless of whether the party has just started or not. We don’t have cut-off times! Our staff are there just to serve you and your guests, not to clean up quickly for the next bridal party. Book a viewing and we can go through the packages with you.
